Taylor Bracken
is assigned to his agency’s Special Operations Division- Canine Unit, as a dual canine handler. Taylor also serves as a training coordinator within the canine unit.
Taylor is a certified search incident manager responsible for coordinating large scale search and rescue or criminal searches. Taylor has earned his A.S. in Criminal Justice from Frederick College and completed Thomas Jefferson University’s (Einstein College of Health Professions) Paramedicine Certificate course in 2003.
Taylor comes with a rare, vast experience from multiple agencies. Taylor has worked in Philadelphia, PA as a paramedic, Howard County Fire and Rescue as a firefighter/EMT, Washington D.C. Fire Department as a firefighter/paramedic-preceptor, Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) as a firefighter, Jersey City Medical Center as a paramedic and in Maryland as well. Taylor is a tactical paramedic and active shooter instructor certified through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)

Rich Hough
is a Police Officer currently assigned to the Departments’ SWAT unit. In addition to being a SWAT “operator” Rich also serves as a tactical paramedic, sniper, rescue specialist, hazardous materials technician/specialist and is a training coordinator/instructor within the unit.
Rich has been in law enforcement since 2006, and EMS since 2001. Rich holds instructor certificates in several subjects including a Pennsylvania police instructor certification (MPOETC). Rich is still active in EMS and served as a command certified Paramedic for Bucks County Rescue Squad in Bristol, PA.
He started his emergency services career in Philadelphia where he worked his way up from volunteer, dispatcher, EMT and eventually Paramedic at Burholme Emergency Medical Service.
Rich has an extensive knowledge/ experience in multiple critical incidents where he has acted in dual role as a paramedic and officer while working in a major east coast city.

Nick Jaskiewicz
is assigned to his agency’s Field Operations Bureau at one of busiest barrack’s in Maryland. He was previously assigned to the agencies Aviation Command where he served as Crew Chief and Paramedic in Command on the state-of-the-art AW139 Medevac helicopter.
Nick was tasked with Tactical Flight Officer operations, Hoist, Aerial Rescue, and Medevac missions. He has been in the Emergency Services field since 2004 and has spent most of that time teaching in some capacity. His career began in Connecticut as a First Responder at the age of 14. He then obtained his Paramedic at 19 from Hartford Hospital Paramedic Program
Once he obtained experience with one of the busiest 911 systems in the state, he then became a Fire Fighter/ Paramedic prior to entering law enforcement in 2015.
Nick is still active with Aviation Command while upholding his fulltime assignment an duties. He is a Tactical Paramedic, Rappel Master, Certified Sniper, and rescue specialist

Sean Mackey
Sean comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in emergency service. Sean started as a volunteer firefighter and EMT before pursuing his career in Law Enforcement.
Sean currently is a Sergeant with one of the largest privatized police departments in the country. Sean is currently assigned to the K-9 Unit as a K-9 handler, and K-9 instructor he is also a member of his department’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) serving as the Tactical Medic during deployments. Due to Sean’s knowledge and experience in the medical field he is sought out by his department to be the lead instructor for all medical/ tactical medical training.
